Worship thru the Ages

Church is a place of worship to God.  Sunday worship and special services have been the center of our spiritual life at CCUMC.  Worship has traditionally consisted of song, prayer, sermons, and sacraments (such as offering, baptism and membership, and communion).  But worship styles have changed over the years from traditional liturgy to contemporary praise; a single joint service to parallel language-based services; choirs to music teams; organs to keyboard, base/guitar, and percussion; pastor-led to worship team-led; single pastor/preachers to preaching teams; and worship books to multi-media.  Yet all have the common objective of giving praise and worship to our Lord and Savior.
